I feel like I've been out of town, or on vacation or something with regards to my flist. (Oh that it were so in RL!) Haven't been by hardly at all, busy busy. I've had some freelance and been pretty busy at home. Started going to the gym and that kills most of the momentum for the evening since I just want to collapse on the couch afterwards. Feels good though. Really glad I've started going.
The day job has been so weird. It's been either pure boredom (as evidenced by doing a couple pieces of sga art to survive the day) or super busy. They are trying some new project management stuff, and it's pretty much not working at all for our team. I've never had so much downtime. Back to having absolutely nothing to do today. What's annoying is I have work at home I could do, but I don't want to take vacation - need to save it for upcoming holidays. I'm waiting to hear (hopefully today) if I got some pieces into a juried encaustic painting exhibit in Santa Cruz. If I do, I think I want to go to the opening reception. Don't know why I'm planning that, the chances of me actually getting my paintings in the show is pretty slim.
Anyway, boring entry, I got nuthin. Waiting for lunch lunch lunch.....
