A few hours ago, I wrote the 50,000th word of Wandering! Since then I've written a couple hundred more, but that doesn't matter - I am done! Unfortunately, the book itself isn't done - I get probably get another ten pages of writing at least before the story if over. The month is half gone and my word count is just barely over the half-way point: I'm at 26,635! I'm so proud of myself - I've never written this much in so little time. In fact, I don't think I've ever written this much, period. My longest project before is currently a bit over 23,000 words. This story is beating it and I've managed not to lose too ( Read more... )

Ten days in, twenty more to go. NaNoWriMo has gone much better than last year - in fact, I've written more in ten days than I did in thirty days last year! My total as of now is 17,880 words. Only about ten hours left until November 1st, but I don't know if I can make it! NaNoWriMo starts at midnight tonight, but I won't be able to write a whole lot, if at all, because I have stupid school tomorrow.
