I'm going to write soon, maybe after I post this, but before that I want to give an update about my progress so far on NaNoWriMo: I wrote 5,652 words in the span of about seven to eight hours (of course, I kept getting distracted by people, the TV, and dinner, but I managed to write most of that time)! Chances are I won't be on this streak for long, but for now I'm going to reap the rewards of feeling like I'm a perfect overachiever. To accomplish 50,000 words, you need to write about 1,700 words a day, and I wrote a little more than enough for three days. But since most people doing this probably aren't stuck in school about half the time they're awake, I need all the advantages I can get.
In the meantime, though, I'm also working on icons. I probably have signed up for too many icon challenges, but they're so fun and they help challenge me - plus I really want to win, at least once! And I think it really is helping me, and soon I'll be really good at it. Right now I think I'm okay at it, but definitely room for improvement.
Enough chitchat. Now I need to write, make icons, or possibly do some homework. I'm thinking it'll be one of the first two...
