the tub in the new house was clogged when I bought it so after I poured some Drano Foaming Pipe Snake down it to no avail, I rented an actual pipe snake from Home Depot and got medieval on its ass. this worked for a short time, but as of yesterday the clog was back. for the last few days the water would collect as we showered and be around mid-shin ( Read more... )

I had an offer accepted on a house yesterday...let's hope this one takes.

we found another house and put in another offer, it was countered and then we got outbid; I'm done. I told my realtor I'm out of the game, canceled all house-hunting ventures and I'm retreating from my nearly $750 loss and licking my wounds. at least I can say I tried; I tried and the universe bitch-slapped me into submission and shit on my dream. I looked at another house yesterday. I actually kinda like this one better, and it has a lot to offer including a converted garage with kitchenette that could possibly be rented out. any takers?
