we found another house and put in another offer, it was countered and then we got outbid; I'm done. I told my realtor I'm out of the game, canceled all house-hunting ventures and I'm retreating from my nearly $750 loss and licking my wounds. at least I can say I tried; I tried and the universe bitch-slapped me into submission and shit on my dream. fuck you universe, you might have won the battle, but I'm still in the war!
