I've just finished watching the second day of Watson, IBM's natural language computer, playing on Jeopardy.

I bought a new laptop from Dell this morning, after about two months of deliberation. I decided, in the end, to go with a comparatively cheap Dell machine, and use the rest of the money for a XBox 360 at some point, and perhaps down the road, an iMac.
