I've had some difficulty explaining how I feel about LA Noire.  Tom Bissell comes pretty close, though.

Quake turned 15 yesterday.  I have a number of memories about the game, and I thought that it was about time that I write them down somewhere.

I have no beef with this part - the idea that we have adapted to consume quantities of alcohol without ill effect is hardly a new one. The Globe had a couple of good articles about wine purchasing for people, like myself, who are never sure what bottle to buy. Whining is taken into account though - there are options available for <$20! That should take care of any graping.

C'mon new MacBook...

Edit: Looks like it's not happening, but the new Nano looks pretty nifty, and I like the idea of the Genius. It's like Pandora, but for iTunes!
