We had our date night last night, went out for fish & chips, and then saw 50 / 50 at Westmount last night.

50 / 50 may have been the most evokitive movie I've seen all year.

Some thoughts on media over the past week;

Commentary! The Musical was awesome.

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! isn't as good as I recalled, but the theme music still is catchy.

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer from 1964 remains excellent, despite the years. Why this should be, I'm uncertain. I think it's the high camp levels ( Read more... )

Amy and I watched Reservoir Dogs tonight, it was good, but kind of rough in spots. I enjoyed Forrest Gump on television earlier, though. That scene at the end where Forrest is speaking to Jenny at her grave is hard to watch. :(
