So, there’s a bunch of stuff in the Detroit Institute of Art’s modern and contemporary wing that was never meant to be in a museum. It was art that was intended for people to interact with: to touch and play with and rearrange. Re-watching the extended editions of Lord of the Rings with Beth. No matter how much I liked seeing certain aspects of the books that had been left out, I do have to concede that some of the scenes added back in do tend to drag or tangle the narrative in this format, and I could do without. In Kentucky! Vising with the Professor and family. It's been pretty great so far. The kids are amazing little ones, even if I'm kind of unsure of what to do/how to behave around them. Grump grump grump, my computer is with the Geek Squad. I think a startup file is corrupted, as it keeps going through the boot up process on a loop. It should only be gone a day or two, and it's all covered in my warranty, but I'm still grumpy about it.
