Thanksgiving was not as bad as it has been some years (my sister invited a friend so she had to restrain her psychotic tendencies a little!), and the food was amazing.

I finished North & South and it was so lovely. So lovely.

I've heard some insanely amazing, but also pretty scary news that Viggo may play the father in an adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road. Amazing because Viggo could completely own the role. Very very disappointed to say that we did not get to see Molly. The ranch owners were at a horse show. But we have an almost definite appointment for next Saturday. Also there is a video here for Molly, and more pics. And here you can see the team of Belgian mares we're also going to visit (no video).

I don't understand why people put words like "eyes" and "nose" and "arms" on icons with eyes, noses or arms in them respectively. We all know basic human anatomy, and it seems to me the image should be sufficient to draw the attention to the appropriate bits. If not, find another image ( Read more... )
