5.18 - Another Fine Mess
Lately, there's been plenty going on in my life. It's the sort of epic story that would be perfect for LiveJournal - if only I didn't have this pesky need to protect the privacy and autonomy of my friends. As I said to Liz, as we were driving at midnight toward the Cross farm, "This is the sort of stuff I would love to write about. But it's also the sort of stuff we should keep close to our chests."
Academically, I've been flourishing. Five out of six classes anyway. The sixth has become a decided problem of late and I'm struggling over which way to go. I need to get 700/1000 possible points in order to have a C which will transfer. Right now, I'm pulling about a 60%, but that's with 550 points yet to be awarded. I have one essay into the Dragon Lady with one more on the backburner. Trouble is, this weekend I have four papers to write. Bloody hell, I hate when they (and by they, I mean I) leave things until the end of the semester.
The upside is, I'm probably looking at A's and A-'s in my other classes, which will look good when graduate schools look at them.
I'm about to go into my philosophy class and I am in a decidedly foul mood. I sort of pity the people who are giving their presentations today, I'm going to be a royal pain in the ass.
