i <3 my T1 at work
especially when i remember to bring my laptop. my connection at home is so shitty i sometimes have to reset my modem 4 times for one song.
needless to say i just downloaded an hour long mix in ~20 seconds
vegas was soooooo fucking fun! our group was perfect. we even managed to avoid any fighting until we were stuck in damn hoover damn traffic on our way back.
we drove through some pretty crazy weather on the way there. by we, i mean me. tara can't drive at night because she has horrible night vision, holly didn't feel comfortable with tara's car and tracy drives like a grandma.
the first night we had 1 drink then went to bed. saturday we had breakfast at a very very busy little restaurant at the hotel. the food was good but probably not worth $20/head.
we sat by the pool even though it was freezing and overcast. i don't remember what we did after that except relax and get ready for sat night. rolling in vegas with good friends = so much fucking fun!
the lights, the weather, the fountain show at the bellagio (i think) ... holy fuck! then just chilling in the hotel room in a giant cuddle puddle on the bed. i'd say that was the highlight of the trip. there are so many inside jokes i wouldn't even know where to begin but similar to samantha insisting that charlotte go look at her vagina with a mirror on sex in the city we had the same thing only it was all about assholes and why people pay to have theirs bleached...
tara's champagne got locked in the mini fridge because we didn't realize it wasn't for personal use and they had sensors so every time we moved something they were racking up our bill! we got everything cleared up but not until the wee hours of the morning with tara looking ravenous at holly's last champagne.
the next day we forced ourselves to eat. we went to bucca di beppo. i'd never been before. their sangria and apple gorgonzola salad, yum!
we jacuzzied at cory's condo then washed the very strong chlorine off and wandered the casino. we did a bit of loud gambling at the penny slots then moved to the video roulette. it's amazing how much time you can spend at a slot machine or gambling, before i knew it i think it was like 6am.
we slept a little bit then packed up to check out.
we decided to sit out by the pool before we drove home, i put on some sunscreen but clearly not enough. i was burnt to a crisp by the time we left at around 3.
i can't believe i was contemplating not going. my dirty 30 is coming up in august. i need to think of something to do for it, originally i was thinking vegas but now i'm leaning lake havasu or maybe cabo...
