IT'S OVER!!!!!!! I'm lifted. I woke up this morning and I was happy. I was motherfucking happy for the first time since last summer. I wish I could share this feeling with someone. It's got me almost in tears as I type this. I was all uppity and shit this morning as I was getting dressed all humming and shit. It feels great, I don't want this feeling to go away. Now for todays news.......
I went on my first real date with the new girl this weekend and it went pretty good. We went to see Torque which has to be the worst movie EVER!!!! The action was cheesy and animated. The plot was retarded and it just read like something a twelve year old had written. I swear if I was with my sister, that movie would've gotten walked out of. But I was with my shorty, so I really didn't mind all that much. I wrote a song for her as a birthday present as well as sent her some flowers and a card, and she loved it. She said it almost had her in tears. That really means alot, because she doesn't even cry at funerals. I was kinda restricted on our date though because her brother and his boy came along, so I decided to keep it PG-13 outta respect. But I really enjoyed it. Now I'm not saying she's a shoe-in for the part of my girl, but she makes a strong case. There's still the distance thing and the ex-factor, so she does have some handicaps to work around. I've decided that I'm just gonna take everything super slow with her and see where it leads us. If I'm lead to a point where it's impossible to go on with her and not make her my Girl, I'mma do that. Besides, Cancun is on the way......
That's right, I payed-off my Cancun trip yesterday. So $854 later and I'm gonna spend a week in drunken paradise. I can't wait. Me and my boy from work are going and it's gonna be no holds barred. He's bringing a camera, My aunt is copping me a box of condoms. I'm getting free drinks and food the entire time I'm there, and it's gonna be college spring break so the strip is gonna be off the hook. I hope yall forgive me for the shit I'm gonna do........
The music shit is going great. I'm working on madd songs. Got 5 tracks done on Ghetto Royalty and about to start my studio CD. I also have my first paying gig coming up on Feb 4th at the school for a spoken word night that they're having. Were gonna do two 15 minute sets for $500. I'm pumped and I can't wait for it. This is gonna be my year for real......
