I didn't get nearly as much knitting done this Christmas as last, since we spent fewer days in Missouri this year. But here are some photos anyway.

Tomorrow is our second annual Consul's Picnic. Last year the picnic was initiated by our former consul (not taking Latin this year :-( ), who volunteered to have a spring picnic in his big backyard when we were discussing whether we could hold it at a local park. Today, I accompanied my mother to Paris to pick up a Viking.

New WIP: I'm working on my first lace knitting project! Except that the socks I've been working on since Thanksgiving are probably classified as lace, too. I was working on them and realized, with all those yarn overs and decreases, it was pretty much lace even though it's not a very open-looking pattern of it.
