Today was a good knitting day, for:

1) I just finished crocheting the neck edging on Poppy. It'll be blocked this weekend and worn as soon as it's dry! I tried it on in its wrinkly, unblocked state and it's already just the cutest sweater I've ever owned. Yep. And it is PURPLE AND GOLD! Sort of. And several other awesome colors. Tomorrow is our second annual Consul's Picnic. Last year the picnic was initiated by our former consul (not taking Latin this year :-( ), who volunteered to have a spring picnic in his big backyard when we were discussing whether we could hold it at a local park.
