Yeah, so much for my resolution. I've been quite busy - although a lot of that busy was taken up with watching the first season of Nip/Tuck, which was devoured in a few days. My mom is out of the ICU, though she still has to stay in the hospital overnight. She sounds completely fine, but then again, it's hard to tell. It seems like things are relatively solid for now. I'm still badly shaken, but I'm starting to mellow out a bit at last.

It's a historical day. I wish I had something more profound to say than HELL YEAH, but that pretty much encapsulates it. We got to watch the inauguration at work and there was resounding applause, cheers, and appropriate laughter when Obama stumbled over reciting his oath of office. Back from doing the radio interview at the OPB offices over on John's Landing. Nice place they've got there, obviously with some seriously yummy radio mikes and headphones. The Underland Press wovel crew + me interviewed for a little less than an hour over and ISDN link to "Rick" in the Bay Area, and he grilled us about what the hell we're doing. ( Read more... )
