Stumptown Comics Fest this weekend!
If my presence is enough to compel you to drop $5 on the city's largest comics festival, let this be your goad - I will be working at the Dark Horse table at the Stumptown Comics Festival tomorrow (Saturday) between 10-2. That'll be a great time to drop by - all of the good free stuff goes fast!
Dark Horse will be giving away some things, and selling some other things, and I'm pleased to be there (even if I only have the barest clue what I'm doing, for some reason I kind of like tabling at conventions). If you're going to be there, please feel free to bring me goodies, and I'll be delighted to see you.

The Comics Fest will be taking place at the Lloyd Center Doubletree Hotel Exhibition Hall in Portland, on Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30. The Fest runs from 10am to 6pm, and admission is $5 per person, ages 8 & older. The address is 1000 NE Multnomah, just south of the Lloyd Center Mall.
I am bringing some extra dough with me because there ought to be some great stuff to buy (that's hopefully not too expensive) and I will be attempting to attend both big ol' parties - Friday's at Guapo Comics (SE 64th and Foster) and Saturday's at Cosmic Monkey Comics (NE 53rd and Sandy), though Saturday might be weird because I think I have to go home and tape Heroes because Heroes is more important than getting stuff done. The current plan is to go home, videotape the show, then run back out and go to the party after 9pm, if it's still going on... if it's not, then directly to the afterparty (and I don't even know where that is!)... or I might just collapse and go to sleep, which is what I feel like doing now.
