I found myself quite moved -
even more than I expected to be.

And not JUST because Ernie Borgnine (egad!!!!) was in it  either.

Call my a goosh-brain, but I think it 'ended' perfectly - I really couldn't think of any other way.
And the "Comin', Dr. Greene?" line was PERfect.

Thoughts?

As in,.....
Sheesh.

Spent the Thanksgiving week down in Baja (Ensenada), soaking up sun and generally avoiding much serious thought.  But, of course, that never lasts....

My local-area symphony debut is coming up mid-month, and there are tantalizing rumors of another filmscore and videogame gigs scuttling around the edges, too.  Ve shell zee....

After a long shul-rehearsal (which was actually GOOD for a change), I'm home after practically swimming back o'er hill and dale.

I'm having the last of some very good chocolate chip cookies and a snifter of Grand Marnier.

(Yes, it's really a foul night out tonight - REALLY raining.  Hard!  Plus it's cold and raw.)

She got laid off from her law-firm today (said firm, besides being idiots for letting someone like her who they REALLY need to keep on-staff, is also in the midst of some major shakeups and I'm of the opinion it might either get VERY downsized ( Read more... )
