In Which I Stand Naked to the World Onstage....
Well, yeah. Pretty much.
Those of you who know me, know it's not usually in my nature to ask for help in any way (does that make me a Libertarian?).
As I'd mentioned earlier over on Facebook, things have not been going very well for me gig and thus income-wise.
I've managed to get the ball rolling initially for my Kickstarter project (i.e., doing a decent CD overview of my voice which I'd always wanted to do), but that's still in the beginning stages. Also, the Independent Contracting gigs I've been doing aren't paying enough to keep my nose above water. Plus, even though I DO have 2 very good, guaranteed gigs on the horizon,... they're not for a couple of months yet.
Hence this post. My immediate request now is something two-fold:
To ensure I make my rent this month and get some breathing room I'd ask any of you reading this to either send whatever you can in donations my way (I've had a PayPal address for several years - just ask and I'll let you know what it is), or put me in touch with a reputable lender (someone you trust) who could help me stave off having to live in my car or something.
My immediate goal isn't large (not by Wall Street standards, anyway):
$2,500 would cover everything.
Feel free to mention this to those of your friends and associates, too -
because every little bit helps!
