It's a time of new beginnings for me. But not new living locations so... Behold! My new LJ theme. I feel so 2007 now. ;-)

It's funny that there was neither a tennis-related nor a bear-related theme (at least that I saw). I need to make one up, methinks.

Maybe I should just give up on this whole "blogging" concept, eh? ;-)

I'm noticing lately that I only seem to have the energy to post to my LJ on weekends.

I need to create a system/reason/motivation for me to post every couple of days.

I'm gonna work on that.

Not being doing the LJ thing for a while, I think I'll be catching up now. But of course since most of you are now travelling or way-busy preparing for gift-giving and/or holiday cooking, I suppose most of my posts will fall on deaf ears. At least for the next week.

This 4-part posting was kinda like a midterm self-report card on me and LJ. My conclusions? (  Not too long, detailed list behind the cut. )

So take a read of this article from this week's Advocate, Online With Live Bears. (BTW, it's my first magazine scan -- yay!)

As I was reading this two questions immediately came to mind:

1. Is LJ really an overly Bearish space, or more welcoming to Bears than other similar sites? And

Holy moly! Now I can chat with y'all on LJ's Jabber server! Damn that's sweet. Of course none of y'all were logged into it when I got there, but I'm not giving up that easily. :-)

Voice posting is still cooler, technology-wise, but I think I'm much more apt to use the Jabber thing.
