How do you thank those "angels" (friends and/or family) who did something amazing to change your life, but whom you were in close contact for a year or less?

It's the birthday soon of one of my angels and I haven't seen her since I moved away from Cali.

Thanks for the kind words from everyone who's left kind words. I'll be getting back to y'all individually but i just wanted to give a shout out and say, I'm not intentionally being a bum and not getting back to you.
