I will be graduating in a month. Squee.

I have yet to hear back from any of the jobs I've applied to, though. (We're up to thirteen applications, as of Friday.) Not so squee. But hey, even if I'm without a job by the time I graduate, I figure I can bum for a few months writing and selling art.

I am very, very tired of writing papers. But as one of my classes requires a four-page research paper every two weeks, that isn't likely to change. (I should be writing said paper, at the moment.)

On the way back from Breckenridge last Friday (went skiing again, 17 runs, w00t) I started watching road signs. And a fundamental question occurred to me, most vital to further life as we know it:

Okay, novel's turned in, finishing out at 69,010 words. Two out of my three final papers are turned in, and the last is printed. Plus, I've already read the other person's novel I got in class today, and all I have left is two finals and the ten-page critique. Whew ( Read more... )

So, two final papers down, one to go. I'm at page 3 of that one, too, and it's supposed to be 8-10 pages. It's a research paper, though, so the going is slow.

I managed to finish my Latin quiz on Wednesday, two days before it was due, and then forgot to email it to him until a day after it was due. Still kicking myself.

And so the schedule spirals off again. They cancelled my Science Fiction class, so now I'm stuck signing up for (yet another) class to replace the one I can no longer take... and there aren't any other fun classes. This. is. getting. flat out. ridiculous.

Curses. The Registration people changed my Anthropology of Fishing class so that only those in the Anthropology major can take it. Sadness. And they did it after I registered, too. So I juggled the schedule again, and now I'm going to take Anthropology of Ancient Egypt, instead. I shall have my Anthro class!

I just registered for classes next semester. I'm taking Anthropology of Fishing. Heh.

Plus, no class Tuesdays and Thursdays! W00t! Only I didn't register for any back up classes yet, so they'll probably screw over my schedule in the morning.

I have now officially (well, not really, since I haven't seen my adviser, but close enough) completed my Business minor. Whee. But real classes begin on Monday. Not whee.
