I'm at The Slutcracker and having an awesome time. Am I comically missing the point if I say that was a beautiful sex scene? The title character has the face of Dionysus himself. Pink sparkly Dionysus.

lignota has referred me to "Master of Tides" by Lindsey Stirling. Go, watch. It should come as a surprise, so I'll just say: it contains a few of my favorite things. Public spectacle, harmless pranks, music, dancing, and (?)

...which I enjoyed immensely.

One thing that I went into the show not knowing, just because I never thought to ask and no one thought to mention it: The Slutcracker uses the entire Tchaikovsky score of The Nutcracker. I'm so happy right now! I just saw Ruddigore; Or, the Witch's Curse presented by the MIT Gilbert & Sullivan Players. It was a really good production.
