The German Christmas market has just opened for the year; it was nice out today, so it was buuuuuusy. Also, the skating rink is in the middle of town by the Bargate this year - normally it's by City Hall, but they're doing a whole bunch of restoration and construction to the Civic Centre complex, so I guess moving the rink elsewhere seemed a good ( Read more... )

My crying jag on Monday seems to have done the trick for letting off some tension and allowing me to be rather more *stable* afterwards. (My iPod is totally fine, btw, it just spazzed because I let the battery run down too low, looks like.) Re-installing iTunes and resetting the iPod seems to be working so far. *crosses fingers that this continues* I have been reminded that as I have named my electronics after the Saints universe, I should perhaps expect them to behave like divas and/or assholes upon occasion. :P

I received an Amazon.ca gift certificate from my godparents yesterday, which is what they get me every year. (Well, it used to be for a bricks-and-mortar bookstore, once upon a time.) Well, I have heat. Not that it's actually *warm* in here yet, but the radiator is operational now, so that's progress. I finished my long-distance Christmas shopping today, bleurgh, and remembered in the process why I had kept putting it off: it hurts. Focusing on people that I am not going to be able to *see* at Christmas makes me miss them hardcore and thus I spent most of my shopping extravaganza time in some level of tearing up.
