Need to dig out the cords but my computer is hooked into the mother's network so I'll have proper Internet for the next three weeks w00t! Good flight, despite some turbulence and my stomach protesting such, which is fairly unusual. But, I'm home, it's windy and sunny, and my shins are covered in cat hair. :D

Work is nuts, to be blunt. I'm trying to learn SO many different things all at the same time, whilst short-handed of course because what used to be my position is still an empty seat, and we had a great big wrench thrown in our plans to fill it today, so I don't know what the hell is going on there. The outer edge of Hurricane Bill is at Halifax now, according to the satellite images I can find. Eye should pass over in a few hours. It's currently labelled as a tropical storm, with heavy rainfall and attendant flooding, and extreme winds warnings. Landed, all is well, flight was fine despite the occupants of the six strollers loaded on board (six infants! Aie!) and am now ensconced with Wisers and Pepsi, with a cautious and sniffy but 'don't touch me until invited' kitty. Awww. This is much better than the hiss-and-spit I'd feared.

I've made concessions to the time of year: I dragged out my scarf finally and I actually zipped up my jacket today. Heh.
