Well, other than being quite unnerved by the strength of the wind coming up the road at me, I only lost power for 2 hours, 11:30 til 1:30 am Saturday night. Got to talk to Jon on IM the next morning, though, which is always a good thing ( Read more... )

To want to move to Boston area.... just realized while reading my knitblogs tonight that Grumperina lives in Cambridge... she's an awesome knitter who's done amazing things in her short time knitting, think it's only been a couple of years.  Total knitting inspiration.  I'm just (re)starting her Odessa hat in black with rainbow beads.

Well, go figure...  was searching for knitting needles, and found the bloody pattern for my shawl (in profile picture). Was sitting on top of my basket undera bag of stuff.  While I facepalm, since that was a result of my 'cleaning' a few weeks ago, I'm very happy to have found it again ( Read more... )
