Oh hey, another art theft on Deviantart...someone applied a basic Photoshop filter to the image of my white dragon and then put it in their gallery claiming they painted it.

I am not amused, internet. I am not amused.

Been so caught up in relationship drama that I forgot to mention I got a Daily Deviation last month! It's this thing on Deviantart where they feature a few pieces each day that stood out to them in some way. It's been a heck of a week. Did surgery Wednesday, ran experiments for two days, then finished the grading while running a fever for two days (probably not aided by tromping around in the snow on a quest for tylenol), and then topped it all off by waking up bright and early today and jumping into four and a half hours of double-bird surgery. Done at last! I'm finally satisfied with his paint job. I redid it several times, and then at the end I accidentally went overboard with the interference paints, obscuring most of the detail. I finally finished the Sess/Kag pic that hijacked my muse! I did it for the iy_no_kakera challenge, Theme 52, "Burning." This picture was one of those rare zen-type deals where I was completely in the zone the whole time, and all those years of art classes at long last made perfect sense, and the thing practically drew and colored itself.
