My dad is still at my house.  He was supposed to get into a facility yesterday, but because of his medical issues, it's been put on hold.  He needs a physical from his doctor with a clean bill of health before the facility will take him.  And his doctor can't see him untik the 15th!!!  And I know he's going to want to stay at my house until then.   ( Read more... )

Is almost done!  The counter tops look great!  And Jeff and dad were able to hang the new microwave yesterday as well.  The electric needs to be finished and the floors need to be installed and we're done!  Yay!  I can't wait! :D   It'll be really nice to put the rest of the house back together again. 

The kitchen is almost done.  We now have all new cabinets, new appliances, and new counter tops!  So, now we need the new floor put in, the electric insalled for the new microwave, and the new microwave hung on the wall.  And then it will be all done.  YAY!  I forsee the floor taking forever!  It's like pulling teeth trying to get Jeff to finish ( Read more... )

Jeff has been moved in for about 2 weeks now and things are going well.  He kind of needs to learn how to deal with mom, but I expected as much.  Stinky and Scooter refuse to leave the basement.  Scooter is still very skittish and I'm going to have to use food as a means to get him used to people.  He's such a little turd ( Read more... )
