Did nothing today, really. Spent most of it in bed. Every time I woke up, the depressive side of my brain won over the "but it's a nice day, get up and do something" side. I have those days.

Well, whatever that beatthecrapoutofmeitis was that hit mid-week, I think I'm past it. Last night I was still feeling a bit on the weak side, but far far less congested and not at all feverish.  Of course, coming home from work on Friday at 5pm and sleeping almost straight through til 5pm on Saturday might have helped that issue.

Went at lunch to turn the title on the Oldsmobile over to the towing company. Took co-worker Ross with me (and treated him to lunch) to make the whole "emptying out of the dead car" go as quickly as possible. I got all the books that were weighing down the back of the car, as well as what was in the glove compartment (really just two old discmans) ( Read more... )

I didn't really think it would affect me as much as it seems to have, honestly. Went out this afternoon with the rental car to run some errands and then have dinner at my friends' house. It started flurrying a little before I left the house. Snow on the road ... and I found that I was keeping a larger distance than normal back from the car in front ( Read more... )

Totaled my car on the way to work this morning.

Road conditions weren't even that bad, and I was doing less than the speed limit, but must've hit a slick spot. Bounced off a berm on my side of the road, slide across the other lane and off the road down a slight drop. Ran over a tree-stump and hit some bushes.
