I went to the ENT on Friday to have my ear checked.  She looked in my ear, checked my throat, and checked my sinus.  Everything looks normal.  Her diagnosis: the Eustachian Tube is inflamed.  Treatment:  take Advil for pain and use hot packs.  A friend said that I wasted $30 (co-pay for two doctor appointments) to find out that nothing is wrong.  ( Read more... )

So my earache has not completely gone away.  It's just kinda there; like a dull ache in my ear.  I made an appointment to my ENT to have her look at it.  My regular doctor couldn't find anything wrong and told me to take Sudafed and come back in a few days if it didn't get better.  Well the Sudafed didn't work so I'm going to the specialist.  That' ( Read more... )
