Because I haven't posted in a while, I'm going to summarize what has been happening.
We have done a lot of landscaping in the front yard; I think we are pretty much done. We have a few more things to accomplish before winter sets in. The spider has not returned so I think our asking him to leave worked.
We have been doing a lot of motorcycle riding this summer and it has been extremely fun. We start out going north on Highway 65 (Central Avenue) and picking a road to see where it goes. This has been interesting. I also convinced the husband that he needed a back rest; he finally gave in and we put it on this weekend. His back is doing much better now.
The hubby got a new tattoo and will be getting another one in a couple of weeks. I have acquired three tattoos and am in the planning process for two more.
We went camping in South Dakota in Custer State Park and had a wonderful time. We definitely need a bigger car. We are hoping to accomplish that in the spring.
We have gone to three concerts this year; the Moody Blues, Monte Montgomery and Joe Bonamasa, and Gordon Lightfoot. All very good concerts. We saw Monte Montgomery and Joe Bonamasa at the Minnesota Zoo. I highly recommend seeing concerts there.
Next week is our second photo excursion to Ely. We are hoping that there will still be some leaves left to take pictures of when we get there; otherwise we will have to find wildlife to take pictures of. I guess it's time to break out the cammo clothing.
We are in the process of planning for the upcoming deer hunting season; we both need to buy some smaller clothes to wear.
The dieting and exercising is going great. I've had some problems with my right knee recently and my weight loss was inhibited. My knee is better and I am back on track. The hubby has lost 90 pounds since last October and I have lost 52 pounds. I still don't think it's fair that men can loose weight faster than women. So the way I figure, I have another year to get to my goal weight. The hubby is just about at his goal weight.
He was excited on Saturday when we had to buy him new jeans. One brand he had to get a 46 waist and the other brand he had to get a 44 waist. He was very excited and pleased. I was able to purchase my jeans from the Misses department instead of the Women's department.
I hope to get my photo album updated soon. We have some wonderful pictures from Custer and have been successful in getting some pictures of storm clouds. Plus we will have our photos from Ely.
We also have been seeing a lot of
gniffer lately. That has been great. We are hoping to make it to the sculpture garden soon.
