anniemal says Verizon is coming tomorrow to install FIOS (fiber-optic phone service). They're going to take away our copper phone line. The Federal Communications Commission has set up a web site to measure and record the speed of our internet connections. It runs a Java application, and requests your street address (not validated, but you can't leave it blank).
