anniemal seems to be angry that I haven't left yet. "Are you really going to NC this weekend?" I had considered the possibility of driving on straight from work last night, but I hadn't decided to drive to work in the first place Friday. Until I was leaving for work, expecting to bike, and Annie announced that she was expecting us to pick up the van on my way to work. That meant changing my clothes, and repacking what I was taking to work (backpack instead of panniers), and I had not packed for NC yet, so the driving on option wasn't on. And I was too tired to drive another 5+ hours anyway last night. I got 7+ hours sleep last night, which is the first decent amount since Pennsic.
Possible web-stuff to do this weekend:
- Modify the script that converts feh .txt comment files to Lazygal .comment files, and modify the existing .txt comments for the new format.
- Write a script to make captioning photos easier.
- Caption more photos (that are already on the web site).
- Change the links on the exisiting icons of my photos to point to the expected location of the photos in my new hosting structure instead of the stale atpic.com or netsnapshot.com files.
- Post some of the backlog of Dreamwidth/LiveJournal entries.
- Upload more photos.
- Have a look at installing/configuring PhotoFloat.
Fancy that - Annie posted
a couple of entries to LiveJournal this month, while I was at Pennsic. Her first entries since March.
Saturday 22:14
In Greensboro, NC.
I saw a Hawaii license plate today. But it was heading south on I-85 (so nowhere near DC, since the northern end of I-85 is south of Petersburg, VA).
Highway Drivers:
Dude, there are 4 lanes, and I am in the outside lane. The slow lane. You do not get to tailgate me to urge me to go faster. If you want to go faster, you should not be in the slow lane. Even if the other lanes are not going any faster, you do not get to rush the person in the slow lane. Go crowd someone in a passing lane. I'm tempted to slow down just to annoy you, because you are annoying me. I'm going 5mph over the speed limit, so you really have no cause to rush me.
collinvhPro Sports:
Mom is watching football - the Saints and the Texans. The Texans? Never heard of them. What town? Houston. I (obviously) don't follow pro football, but What happened to the Oilers? (Not that I expect my readers to know the answer to that....)
