Most of my mini-updates have been going to Twitter and Facebook, so it's about time I settle in for a proper update here.

Summer ended amenably enough, with three-odd weeks off school. David was in the Netherlands so Hilary did a lot of nothing around the house and went to Cape Cod for a week with her parents, which was beautiful and amazing. ( Read more... )

Yesterday I spent all day working on my inkle loom, finished my current project, started another one and finished that as well.  David, Hilary and I stayed up late late LATE watching Spike's Most Amazing Videos.

Yesterday sucked.  I will not go into the myriad of ways it sucked, but lo, it did suck.  And you know, today sucks too.

I spent yesterday curled up on the couch while Hilary beaded and David killed beasties in FF XII and redid my LJ layout, added a custom moodtheme and generally got all Christmas-y.
