Ahhh, Divergent.

While the quality of this production surpasses many of the other YA Supernatural books-to-films of it's ilk, I still fail to see why names like Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson get drawn into this stuff, except that they do get the play the scene chewing villain. I am obscenely pleased Let It Go won for best song, and Frozen won for best animated feature (Though, really, let's be honest, I heard some people bitching about the Miyazaki film.  Plus, Frozen has made a billion dollars- AND HAS NOT YET OPENED IN JAPAN.

It's not like step-brother and I didn't know it was gonna be bad. Please, a YA novel based movie coming out in February with Gabriel Byrne as virtually the only recognizable name (Except for Zoey Deutch, who I confess a fondness for) was almost guaranteed to be an unholy mess.
