Had planned a full schedule of cat viewing last weekend: adoption fair on Saturday (hopefully there to meet a beauty named Abigail), visiting Genie (another cat on offer from the same rescue org that was hosting the fair) at her foster home, driving one hour north to meet Bear (maine coon mix), driving 45ish minutes south to meet Mactavish ( ( Read more... )

And on Sunday, we're scheduled to meet this hunka hunka fat cat.

so as not to be a drag on the process*, i have ceded pet selection duties (the initial process anyway) to the russian.  he's headed to a pet shelter now to check out some cats and kittens.  if there's one that clicks for him, he'll ask for it to be placed on hold and then i'll get to meet it later ( Read more... )
