I can't believe that I didn't post about The Submarines more recently. They wrote the 2008 Song Of The Year on the Stubblecast with You, Me and the Bourgeoisie (I can't spell Bourgeoisie without having a guess each time).

This months book for book group is The Easter PArade by Richard Yates. It's pretty good. He wrote Revolutionary Road which I decided was the best book that we did for book group that I didn't choose. It's absolutely bloody brilliant.

Just as good are the covers in the Vintage editions of Yates' books.

These are Noto-esque and just gorgeous.

Book Group wise, I'm going to end my mental health holiday in August and come back for Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde since I've a) read that book and b) love it.
