Every time I think livejournal is cleaning up its mess, something else happens. Now I don't have access to my scrapbook. Received an unwelcome postcard today. Our local bookshop is bowing to the forces of the ebook world and will be closing Aug. 31.

What is the future of the actual, physical book? Will Amazon eventually be the only place we can buy real books?

What the hell's the deal with Firefox? Twice today I've had to clear the cache, cookies and history because my LJ won't load. People using a Firefox browser can't see the page either, so it looks like it might be a Firefox problem. The page looks fine on Safari, at least for now ( Read more... )

I'm so annoyed with my chumpness. I just remembered that I never sent in the rebate info for the iPod I bought with my laptop last August. I just went to do it only to find out that rebate expired after 90 days. This iPod could have been free.

I am officially an idiot. But hey, flisters, you already know that and forgive me for it. Right?
