My big laptop has been driving me crazy for 2-3 years because

1. Right-clicking anywhere on the desktop or Explorer would always have Acrobat (9.0, if you're curious -- no it's not a cracked version) try to install, and that would take forever and end up not fixing anything, and

Currently sitting at my big laptop (which I scarcely visit anymore) and I want to kill it ten ways from Sunday. Why?

I'd been having troubles with Firefox and AVG. Basically, everytime I loaded Firefox AVG would shit a load and my cookies would be gone so I had to sign back into everything (gmail, lj and twitter load automatically, but ff.net also had trouble remembering I'd signed in the day before). Anyway, I think I've found the bug.
