Today is the last day of school for Washington County students. I gave my little girl a hug when I dropped her off at school this morning and told her the next time I see her she'll be a fourth grader. She said, "hmmm." Meaning, "yeah, these things happen. Deal with it ( Read more... )

I have a listening presentation due on Thursday and am looking for object lessons online. When I Google "How to be a good listener + games" Google gives me "Sex tips for geeks."

Since school started I have been much too busy to do anything in journal land, even scroll through my flist. Looks like my days of recreational reading are gone for the next 2 years, or at least until I learn to manage my time better, or go without sleep ( Read more... )

School starts today and I am surprisingly relaxed about it. Well, except for the periodic tingling sensation in my chest and resisting the urge to puke. Wish me luck.
