I've recently found new inspiration from some photography blogs...so I've been going through some old photos and editing them. I'm still trying to find my style. On Sunday, April 26, 2009, we got up early and Josh, Justin and I headed for the Grand Canyon. It was about a 5 hour drive. Josh was kind enough to drive for the entire time. A few weeks ago, Justin and I went on a trip to Las Vegas for about a week. We stayed with our friend Josh, who actually lives in Henderson, which is just outside Vegas. The flight there was very long because it was quite indirect. We flew from Greensboro to Washington DC to Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Total time including layovers was about 12 ( Read more... )

This weekend, Justin and I went to Maggie Valley and stayed in my parents' motel.  They were there, too.  On Saturday, the 4 of us woke up early and went to Chimney Rock State Park.  I haven't had time to go through and tweak all the photos I took (I took a few hundred on Saturday), but here are a few.

Justin and I Marched for babies
I got Mario Kart for the Wii (it is awesome, though using the steering wheel takes some getting used to)
I got a new lens for my camera (Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8) It's a great step up from the kit lens I got with my camera. I'm officially obsessed with photography.
