random thoughts and events
Not much to report...just thought I'd mention the sky was a bit odd this evening, after we had a thunderstorm. Justin and I went for a bit of a walk. I took my camera.
I was thinking...
A few years ago Justin and I got into Fullmetal Alchemist. I was like "I'm not an anime geek, I just like this one show..." Then I got into Fruits Basket and was like "It's just two shows."
Cut to now: I'm hooked on Samurai 7, Death Note, and Bleach...and there are a number of other animes in my Netflix queue. lol. I guess I can't deny it anymore. At least Justin's right there with me.
Spore Creature Creator came out recently, and that's been fun...though I'm not as addicted to it as Justin is. I've made a creature that looks like a tree, one that looks like a cactus, and an awesome golf ball-ish nightmare. Friday night Justin and I went to a Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball game. That was pretty fun, minus the absurd price of food there. The home team got creamed, unfortunately. There were fireworks afterward, and they were pretty awesome. There was a dog that would carry a bat in its mouth, and after the game it was supposed to run the bases. It went from home plate to first, then to second, then third...and then it made a detour to the pitcher's mound to heed nature's call before going to home. lol. I have a question: When did baseball games become so ADHD? Everytime there is the slightest pause in action, like between batters, they play these goofy sound clips. I guess it makes things a little more interesting...*shrug*
Oh yeah, the other night I had a dream where Justin was a making a giant casserole. lol so random and odd. The casserole dish was 6 ft x 10 ft or something like that. He was putting in huge food, including giant slices of bread, and big corn. Tell me what it means, Freud. I'm particularly curious as to what kind of casserole includes slices of bread. *raised eyebrow*
