Lester strove for patience. “Very sure, Connor. Now concentrate, can you remember anything at all?”
Connor shook his head. “No, but don’t worry, I promise I’ll think of something. Stay there… Oh sorry! I’ll--”
He ran off. Lester mentally berated himself. He should have known it would end badly but Connor had begged so prettily. If only he’d thought to check that his boyfriend had located the key to the cuffs.
Connor reappeared carrying a hacksaw. Lester blanched. Suddenly phoning Danny for assistance was looking a whole lot more attractive.
