Yesterday, Dave and I had a great time on his boat! We called my friend Kathy as we were nearing the water since we were in her hometown. So she came and met up with us for a bit with her puggle, Piper. We then went out on the water for about 5 hours. We swam a bit, just rode around, had a picnic lunch on the boat, and did some fishing. We didn't catch anything but it was still fun, and I think I had only fished once before in my life with Stephanie's father. But that's about it. So it was interesting to fish, but not my thing or anything. But it was so much fun.
Here are some pictures from our day:
Kathy took this of me with my lovely hat on before we took off. The boat launch was the neatest thing - you back your car up into the water with the little boat holder thing and boat in the water, and then you unhook your boat! Obviously, there is a bit more to it than that, but I just thought it was really neat! And the picture of me is funny!

Dave and I took a break in the middle of the day to land for a minute. Here he is walking into the woods.

So it was so much fun!
After that, we stopped by his cousin's house - to visit her and her husband, and their baby. They live sorta far away from us, but like Kathy, since we were near their house, it was a great time for an impromptu visit! (We were about an hour from our house - sorta, west, not south, which is near my townhouse - an hour in a totally different direction, and a direction that we usually don't go) So that was a ton of fun. We went to Wegman's to pick up dinner and hung out at their house. At the end of the day, we were so tired!!
Today, I went to church with my mom, sister and aunt and then we went out to lunch after.
After I got home, Dave and I went food shopping for the start of my party food. I started to get a bunch of things together, but I still have a lot to do!!
I also started reading Harry Potter 1 while on the boat! It's so good so far! I'm really enjoying it!
