Friday was graduation for the university where I work. I was "Rocky's Handler" - Rocky is our mascot and I had to walk around with him, give him water and breaks and take his picture with graduates. It was all in all a fun day!

My ballroom dancing showcase on Friday went really well. It ended up being a lot of fun - the dinner food was wonderful. They had an open dance floor for portions of the evening too, and it was a lot of fun dancing with my teachers practicing social dance and all that good stuff. Friday my boss gave me a "mental health day" and I had the day off. I still got work accomplished, but it also gave me more time to do errands and get stuff for life done. My mom and I ran a ton of errands - we did some shopping, some stuff for her work, and food. It was nice and it was nice to have the day off, even if it was only "sorta" off. Ya ( Read more... )

Yesterday night, Dave and I went to see Sweeney Todd. I know the basic story line, but I wasn't aware of some of the nuances and all the characters, so I really liked it.
