Last night, Dave and I drove up to New York (not the city) to a big mall not so far away. This mall has a ferris wheel and four floors and is huge! We really didn't buy anything, but we walked around. I had a certificate for $15 to Express, and I couldn't find ANYTHING that I wanted. It was the weirdest thing. Anything over $15 wasn't worth it to me (not even the tank tops for $19.50 - that would have cost me $4.50) and apparently I wasn't able to use the thing unless I spent at least $15. I would have taken a $10 tank top, but they wouldn't let me. But the things were so poorly made and not anything I would have bought anyway, that I rather go to a better place and spend more than give them any money for it. I know that might be odd logic, but I was pretty hard pressed to find anything that I would have worn.
Cynthia then called on our way home and we were going to stop by her neck of the woods on the way home and visit, but the timing wasn't right, so we didn't.
Today Dave and I are going to spend the afternoon on his boat. I think he's planning on a picnic or something first, and then we're going to just hang out on the water. I think that will be a nice end to summer. Then in the next two days, he and I are going to do a massive shopping trip for supplies for my party. I think that will be fun. I basically have the menu figure out, I just need to do the actual shopping. I can't wait for my party!!
I should go get ready. I think we also plan on swimming too, which should be fun. I don't have a lot of homework due this week, so that is a good thing!!
