Today, I did a bit more searching for food for my party with my mom. Then after, we stopped by Dave's house (since the food store we went to is right by his house) and we hung out with his parents and and my mom, together, for a while. They were talking about paint colors, and new furniture, and bedspreads and curtains for two bedrooms, along with recovering chairs. All that type of decorating stuff that I love to talk about!!
After that, I went home and *tried* to tan in my backyard. I also finished Harry Potter 1. Then Stephanie came over with Gizmo, and we filled up the puppy pool - and then Rory, Molly, Bobby and Gizmo went swimming together - with me since I was tanning in my bathing suit and hot - and we all had a lot of fun! The dogs got so muddy and dirty! Stephanie always says that whenever Gizmo comes over here to play with the Bostons, he goes home dirty and needs a bath! So then Alyson, my mom and I gave Tuffy, Molly, Rory and Bobby baths. Tuffy was the easiest. But he likes baths.
I then did some general house cleaning. How fun. Then I spent some time working on my never-ending pile of laundry! I had A LOT of things to iron, and I got through that pile. However, I still have a lot of things that need to be hand washed or dry cleaned. Most of my wardrobe is from places like Anthropologie - and a lot of it isn't machine washable! Gr. Frustrating.
I forgot to do my 101 in 1001 update on the 1st of the month! So I'll do it now!
I landed an internship for MSU - so 135 hours from now I will have that crossed off. I also finshed the first Harry Potter book. I made boxers for Dave. I found a coffee drink I can tolerate. I got one doctor visit off my list. I finished the civil union embroidery.
Not too shabby! I actually accomplished some things!!
Summer is now over. That also is upsetting. However, this was the summer of 'water sports' for Dave and I. We went in the ocen together about 4 times on various trips (maybe 5? Not so many, but still pretty good) We went swimming in a pool. We went on a waverunner. We went in his boat. We went to a water park. (And today I went in Bobby's swimming pool!!) School already started for me though, so it isn't all that big of a deal that summer is over!!
