[A rather tall man stumbled out of the shadows that graced the alley between two buildings. The former general had been nearly certain that when everything had vanished into the that suffocating darkness that he would never see any light again. The fact he had somehow been released from it or somehow had managed to escape was overshadowed rather

As much as he hated to admit it, there was no mistaking the guy for anybody else. But...how?! Zack ignored the logic that told him that Cloud didn't remember going to Nibelheim, so of course it was totally plausible that Sephiroth would be walking around as fresh as a daisy.
But still! He couldn't - this didn't - ]
Sephiroth?!

Yes, Zack?

How did you get here?!

Sephiroth!
[He was also mentioning a world that sounded familiar and for once, he wasn't looking for Cloud. It confused the blond and made him angry all at once.]
What are you doing here?! Answer me!

I have no answers for you Strife.

[What? No taunts? Cloud can't help but be even more confused and even a little out of his element. Sephiroth always made him yell and get a migraine because of the taunting and the Darkness.]
I defeated you months ago. How'd you escape the Darkness again?

I have no reason to lie, what would it gain me to do so?
We've never fought, so I don't see how you can claim that you defeated me. As for how I escaped from the Darkness which claimed my world, I do not know.

You're taking this calmly.

How would it do that?

Sir? I apologize, I'm not from your world. But if I can assist you in finding anyone, or answer any questions for you, I'd be happy to do as much.

As it stands, there are currently people out trying to gather information about these worlds and how we can win our own back from the darkness. It's slow-going, as the natives are rather tight-lipped, and it feels as if we're looking for a needle in a haystack, but we have at least been told that our worlds can and will one day be restored. Though how long that might take... I cannot say.
For example, the world I'm living on now, Radiant Garden, was once the capital of Light, then fell to Darkness, and was recently restored.
[But she's dangerously close to going off on a tangent, so she corrals herself back in line.]
As far as what can be done to help... The King has placed some on assignments to various worlds, such as myself. But if you'd rather not commit yourself to such an obligation, the Heartless--the beasts the Darkness takes physical form in--can be fought.

The beasts are the moving shadows yes? It is good to have a name for them now. I fought none too few of them before my arrival here, they ended up making up in numbers what they seem to lack in strength.
I'm willing enough to take orders depending on what those orders are, where might I meet this King?
[It would be something to keep himself busy with once he'd gotten the lay of the land and it might even help in the long run with this restoration effort the lady spoke of.]

[Nearly dropping the communicator in his hands..]
If I might say so, Sir, I'm glad to see you're safe.

Thank you, Strife. I'm glad to see you're safe as well.
You may stand down and relax, it would seem we'll be off-duty here since the company we serve is no longer in existence.

[Calling him by name just seemed too informal, it'd be hard to break that habit.]
I believe you're in a place called Traverse Town. [So he's probably been told several times.] There are other worlds, ones that haven't been taken. Strange places.

Oh? Have you personal experience of these other worlds or is the knowledge second-hand?
