I just re-read “K’diwa: A Steamy Novel of interspecies Romance, by Jim Kirk” and I vaguely recall another story where Kirk wrote a book about Tarsus IV. So I'm getting a weird craving for h/c fics where Sulu is hurt, maybe even raped, and his friends help him recover. I don't care if it's gen or slash, AOS or TOS, as long as there's a happy(-ish) ending.

Looking for specific Spirk fic where Jim is a genius and keeps doing amazing things but no one really knows him. Might be a de-aged fic with Tarsus IV. Has a scene where Jim saves the away team from a giant spider. Might be a scene where he saves them from an alien society by ceremonially fighting and is Bada** after Chekov breaks a vase. Thanks!
