Tomatoes, yum!
I just wanted to post that yesterday evening, we finally got to really enjoy the "fruits" of our garden labor. I took some of the pureed tomatoes, that came from our own garden, and with Rob's hand at the seasonings, made it into a very tasty, and naturally no-added-sugar, speghetti meat sauce for dinner. YUMMY!
And we have enough for at least one more meal, if not more, so I put some of it into the freezer.
Our plants have pretty much given the last of the current fruits, for now, with only one here and there. Tho' I expect to have more fruits as it cools down into fall next month. But we still have lots of canned tomatoes for this fall/winter, and maybe into spring.
